We are currently looking for a Process Operative for our Luton site.
Role & Responsibilities
* Set up and operate the Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) equipment
* Operate the curing ovens using the program controllers and chart recorder equipment.
* Ensure that all documentation, oven chart recorders and work pack travellers are kept up to date.
* Checking of plant equipment at regular intervals in accordance with maintenance check sheets.
* Proactive understanding of calibration needs and dates for all relevant equipment,
* Responsible for the identification and reporting of defective equipment or tooling to team leader/supervisor.
* Take ownership of the department and surrounding areas with respect to the company 5S programme
