Job Description Job title: Food Service Assistant Location South Lanarkshire College G750NE Working hours: Monday to Thursday 830am – 2.00pm Friday 9am -2.00pm Hourly Rate/Salary: £12.60 per hour equated to £10.53 per hour based on 43.6 weeks per year Aramark UK are currently recruiting a term time food service assistant to join their team. We are looking for a keen coffee enthusiast to make specialty hot drinks, alongside providing excellent customer service on the tills. You will be working with a fantastic team and supporting the day-to-day running of the unit. Job Responsibilities Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers General kitchen duties, including food preparation including making sandwiches and cold food General front of house duties such as clearing tables, table service, customer service Till work and taking payments Restocking items and stock rotation General cleaning of front and back of house - Sweeping/Mopping and general housekeeping to ensure areas are always cleaned to a high standard. We aim for all staff to be multi skilled and flexible with full training and support provided both on the job and via our e learning portal.
