Hours: Full-time/40 hours per week, mix of shifts between 7 am - 7.30 pm
The role
We are seeking a professional and patient-focused Medical Receptionist to join our Front of House team at The London Clinic. Key Duties
* Act as a champion for customer service excellence and be a custodian for Clinic Standards to all staff with integrity and a professional manner in order to promote The London Clinic at all times.
* Deal with issues, requests, and enquiries promptly and courteously, notifying the individuals concerned and follow up accordingly.
* To use any Medical Computer Systems, for patient's records, registration, bookings, billings and payments.
* To establishing payment arrangement and / or obtaining the required documentation and information from our patients.
* To chase up Letters of Guarantee (LOG) from embassies for International patients or patients who are being sponsored.
* To check and confirm that authorization is obtained from insurance companies to cover all medical appointments.
* To ensure collection of payment from clients. This maybe in the form of cash or electronic transactions.
* To perform end of day account function ensuring that cash collected is banked and transaction records are maintained.
* To be well organised, competent, keep accurate records and maintain the confidentiality of all patients and visitors.
* To ensure that the patient's visit, is carried out with minimum delay, coordinating the activities and the providing of the information flow to relevant departments.
* To assist in booking taxis and couriers for patients, visitors, consultants and colleagues.
* To exercise flexibility in all staffing situations. Extra hours will be asked when needed.
Skills & Experience
* Good command of English
* Second language would be desirable
* Prior receptionist experience/corporate front of house
* Experienced working in Medical receptions advantageous
* Working with vulnerable people
* Telecommunication knowledge
* Good PC skills
