Senior IT Engineer
We are recruiting for a full‑time Senior IT Engineer on a permanent basis.
Key duties include
* Leading the investigation and resolution of complex technical incidents and providing specialist support as the team’s escalation point
* Conducting root‑cause analysis to prevent reoccurrence and improve service reliability
* Ensuring all systems and services comply with security, governance, and operational standards
* Offering technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members to support their development and enhance team capability
Qualifications
* Relevant qualification or equivalent experience to SCQF Level 8‑10 such as a degree level
* Proven experience in managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex IT infrastructure (servers, virtualisation, storage, and backups)
* Significant experience with Azure stack (compute, storage, networking, AVD)
* Ability to mentor colleagues and transfer skills
* Full UK driver’s licence
