Hours per week: 37

Start date: Immediate start

Salary: £13.17 per hour


Job description

1. Carry out service reviews of Supporting People Grant, Revenue Grant, and other supported housing schemes, ensuring services and payments align with contracts and Welsh Government standards.
2. Review Council housing management services to assess support and rent costs regularly.
3. Coordinate Tenant Support Scheme (TESS) referrals, update records, and monitor outcomes.
4. Assist in reviewing the Supporting People Local Commissioning Plan.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date computerised records with audit trails for payments and support services.
6. Conduct Housing Related Support Needs Assessments (HRS) for clients and update records accordingly.
7. Provide reports, advice, statistics, and performance data on Supporting People services, including monitoring reports and performance indicators.
8. Perform client assessments under the Council’s Fairer Charging Policy, ensuring correct payments and reconciliation.
9. Represent Housing Services at meetings, deliver presentations, and provide feedback and reports.
10. Ensure compliance with Financial Regulations, Policies, and Procedures.
11. Implement the Council’s Equal Opportunity and Environment policies.
12. Undertake other duties as reasonably required by the Chief Officer, consistent with the grade and job character.


Experience

* Experience working with the public and vulnerable clients.
* Experience in record keeping and office systems.


Knowledge

* Knowledge of housing and support issues.
* Proficiency with IT systems.
* Understanding of the Supporting People Framework.


Skills and Aptitudes

* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Excellent written communication skills for correspondence, forms, and reports.
* Organisational and administrative skills.
* Ability to establish and maintain monitoring systems, including IT (OHMS).
