Salary: Grade R3 Scale point 17 – R4 Scale point 24, plus Responsibility Allowance for delivering Music lessons
FTE: £28,840 - £31,482 per annum (Actual: £22,294.70 - £24,337.09 per annum), depending on experience.
Location: St Dominic’s School, Hambledon, Nr Godalming, Surrey GU8 4DX.
Working Pattern: 32.5 hours per week, Term Time only.
St Dominic’s School is a special school in Godalming, Surrey, with 56 acres of grounds, providing for 150 pupils aged 7-19 with complex needs, including speech, language, communication needs, and autistic spectrum conditions.
The school is a leader in 'blended' teaching approaches, holds the Advanced Autism Accreditation, and the Arts Council ‘Artsmark’ Silver Award.
We seek a passionate High Level Teaching Assistant with a special interest in music to deliver high-quality music education across Key Stages 2 and 3, foster a love for music, and support pupils to reach their musical potential. Responsibilities include inspiring pupils with diverse musical interests, offering various musical opportunities, and supporting inclusive, accessible, and culturally diverse music provision. You will assist pupils individually and in groups to access the curriculum, participate in learning, and achieve.
