The role
We are currently recruiting for 3 roles. The purpose of this role is to provide support to service users at our projects. You will need to be able to work empathetically with service users who have been homeless and have complex needs. You will work to empower service users, actively engaging them with the community and helping them to support each other, to develop resilience, to live independently and to be an asset to the community. You may be required to work on a rota basis.

The right fit

* Able to assess need and to plan and deliver effective, stimulating and dynamic support.
* Able to develop service user, volunteer and community involvement and work in an enabling way including facilitating group activities
* Able to demonstrate personal organisational skills: attendance /timekeeping, planning workload; record keeping, use of IT, managing workloads effectively, meet deadlines.
* Able to demonstrate strong communication skills including record keeping, report writing, use of IT and social media platforms
* Able to address equality and diversity issues and an understanding of the needs of volunteers and service users
