The Mechanical Superintendent will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of mechanical scopes on site.
As the Mechanical Superintendent, you will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities within your designated area are properly planned and approved for safe execution. You will be based at the PUMA project site office.
This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of a large-scale Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Instrumentation, and Electrical project, ensuring the safety and efficiency of all construction activities on site.
Your activities will include, but are not limited to:
* Ensure implementation of BUK HSE safety policies and procedures on site
* Supervise personnel to ensure safe work practices
* Participate in HSE audits on site
* Assess all mechanical activities required on site
* Provide technical support for task reviews as needed
* Ensure mechanical supervision plans activities aligned with the project schedule
* Collaborate with project/construction managers, engineers, and site supervision for timely execution of work
* Review and assess mechanical trades personnel evaluations
* Review and create method statements and risk assessments for all mechanical scopes
* Review documentation and RAMS from vendors/subcontractors before on-site work
* Maintain workforce productivity by adhering to work start, finish, and break times
* Identify potential clashes and address them proactively to prevent delays or safety issues
* Coordinate with the Work Pack Manager to ensure timely creation and approval of Installation Work Packs
* Attend daily coordination and other relevant meetings
* Coordinate with other superintendents to optimize resource utilization
