School Minibus Driver / PCV Driver
Location: Peterlee
Hours: 7:30am - 10:00am & 1:45pm - 3:45pm (4.5 hours per day / 22.5 hours per week)
Days: Monday to Friday
Contract: 3rd November - 19th December (End of Term)
Pay: 13.50 per hour (Paid weekly, PAYE)
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and safety-conscious Minibus Driver to support a local school in Peterlee. This role will involve transporting pupils to and from school safely and on time, ensuring a calm and supportive environment throughout each journey.
Key Responsibilities
* Driving the school minibus on morning and afternoon routes.
* Ensuring the safety and well‑being of all passengers.
* Conducting basic vehicle checks and reporting any issues.
* Maintaining a professional and friendly manner at all times.
Requirements
* Enhanced DBS
* Full UK Driving Licence with D1 entitlement (valid and clean).
* Must be aged 25+ (for insurance purposes).
* Excellent reliability and punctuality.
* Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
* Weekly pay (every Friday) for hours worked the previous week.
* Supportive working environment.
* Consistent daytime hours, Monday to Friday.
