Location
Hillingdon Granges – comprising of Yiewsley Grange, Colne Grange, Upton Grange. This role will be predominantly based at Upton Grange, with occasional support to other sites.
Salary
Up to £53,200 DOE plus £5,000 Welcome Bonus (one payment of £2,500 after one month and a second payment after final probation period). Terms & Conditions apply.
Hours & Contract
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30am – 16:30pm. Permanent – 52 weeks.
About the Role
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our in‑house clinical team. You will work collaboratively with the education team, delivering bespoke occupational therapy assessment and intervention to pupils who may have experienced developmental trauma, be neuro‑divergent or have SEMH needs. You will work within the standards provided in the OFG Occupational Therapy Ways of Working, guiding your practice within an education setting and clarifying your roles and responsibilities while taking into account governing and professional bodies.
You will be responsible for holding an occupational therapy caseload, with full support from your designated clinical supervisor and site lead, and contributing to staff training and consultation as required.
Responsibilities
* Deliver occupational therapy assessment and intervention to pupils with developmental trauma, neurodivergence, or SEMH needs.
* Hold and manage an occupational therapy caseload.
* Collaborate with multi‑professional teams to support pupils’ independence.
* Contribute to staff training and consultation as required.
* Apply the OFG Occupational Therapy Ways of Working in practice.
Qualifications & Experience
* Recognised Occupational Therapy degree.
* Valid and up to date HCPC Registration.
* Registered member of RCOT.
* Relevant experience providing occupational therapy services within a similar setting.
* Previous engagement with neurodivergent and/or learning difficulty, or socio‑emotional and mental health difficulties.
* Sound knowledge and clinical understanding of OT theory and practical application.
* Experience working independently, flexibly and confidently.
* Clear and concise report writing skills.
* Interest in sensory integration or sensory‑informed practice (SI practitioner training in progress or completed preferable).
