ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM
This is an ideal entry-level role where you will work on many marketing and business activities within our fast-paced global BORDERS community.
The essence of the role is to provide support to the Borders Strategic Marketing team, which drives and supports a wide range of initiatives that meets the needs of BORDERS to enable its growth ambitions.
This role provides an opportunity to:
· Work with people in a local or distant setting who come from diverse backgrounds.
· Develop core competencies and skills needed to pursue a career in business and marketing
· Give you the exposure to major corporate related projects
WHAT YOU WILL DO
1. Support execution of the integrated marketing and communications programs, collaborating with key stakeholders and aligning with SITAs global marketing strategy.
2. Support across all dimensions trade shows, corporate and industry events, including planning, customer outreach, content preparation, execution, and evaluation.
3. Collaborate with and oversee relationships with external agencies and companies, including tradeshow and exhibition organizers, stand builders, event management firms, industry associations, and venues, to ensure the seamless execution and success of events.
4. Support key Borders / Corporate / Transformation projects selected by senior management.
5. Collaborate with Product Managers and Solution Specialists to identify marketing opportunities, such as white papers, thought leadership pieces, blogs, videos, and oversee their development from inception to completion.
6. Collaborate with Marcom peers across BU, GEO and Corporate to strengthen the SITA brand.
7. Collaborate with Marcom peers across BU, GEO and Corporate to develop and activate marketing communication specific to Borders.
8. Continually leverage digital solutions and data-driven marketing and communications efforts for optimal efficiency and effect.
9. Brief, collaborate with, and maintain relationships with external agencies e.g. copywriters and creative agencies for a variety of marketing activities, ensuring alignment with SITA's standard and vision.
Qualifications
WHO YOU ARE
10. A graduate in Business and Management, Marketing or related discipline.
11. Any past experience in Aviation domain is desirable.
