Job Description
We are currently recruiting an Project Manager to plan, organise and control maintenance, and repair activities on all site services, utilities and infrastructure. To ensure the site meets all legislative and technical compliance with respect to services, utilities and infrastructure at all times. To monitor, manage and report on utility usage and costs.
To specify, cost and manage capital and revenue projects for the site. To plan, organise and control providers of external engineering support where skills do not exist internallyResponsibilities: To project manage the design and implementation of projects with the Dungannon Complex including setting of deadlines and assigning responsibilities.To work with multi- disciplined teams at all levels to ensure success in the project.To coordinate internal and third party resources.To develop a detailed projected plan to monitor and track project progress.To regularly update the site leadership team with progress reports including presenting at various meetings with both internal and external stakeholders as required.To mentor operations teams colleagues supporting their development plansNegotiating purchase contracts with equipment/ service suppliers as required.To work in a manner that actively seeks to reduce any negative environmental impact in relation to the processes and procedures operating within their area and across the wider business e.g. reduction of waste, recycling etc.Ensure full compliance to all Moy Park protocols and financial governance requirementsTo support the creation of the Operations AcademyAny other reasonable duties as requiredEssential Criteria: Extensive proven managerial experience within food processing or FMCG Manufacturing environmentProven track record in innovation and driving continuous improvement initiatives.Knowledge of processing plant improvement.Strong project management skillsStrong communication skillsSelf-motivatedWell organisedGood negotiating skillsRobust and Flexible approachDesirable Criteria: Poultry industry experienceHealth & Safety qualificationTPBN1_UKTJ
