This is a varied role where you will organise the diaries of our maintenance engineers to make sure that they attend and complete repairs on behalf of our residents/customers. This role is challenging, fast paced and is pivotal in ensuring that all maintenance and repair jobs are allocated to the appropriate engineer and allotted the correct amount of time. You will be responding to reactive call outs or planning of preventative maintenance visits, scheduling the works to the engineers, ensuring relevant access requirements / security is adhered to. You will also monitor works to ensure that they complete on time so that the engineer is able to attend to their next job. You will use our scheduling software to oversee our the working days of multiple engineers, moving/reallocating jobs as and when emergencies need to be booked in or when extra time is needed. In addition to managing the time of our directly employed engineers, you will also arrange for sub-contractors to complete specialist repairs, making sure all jobs are closed down on the system once completed. You will also liaise closely with our call centre team and residents, agreeing appointment times when scheduling in works. We are based in Greenhithe, Kent just a short distance away from Bluewater. We do offer a hybrid working policy and most of our team work at home and in the office on a rotational basis. Please note that we do not offer hybrid working whilst training. When you are travelling to us we have good bus route links and only 5 minutes from the nearest railway station. We also have free parking. It's a fun and sociable office which promotes an inclusive culture. This is a permanent full time position and working hours are 40 per week, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
