Very well-regarded law firm in Reading is currently looking to recruit an Agricultural & Rural Property lawyer of 0 to 4 years’ PQE. The team is looking for a solicitor who can build their experience working collaboratively on rural matters, whilst also running your own caseload. The role offers a significant level of variety and interest and, as such, you will work across a range of work-types, which will include more traditional agricultural property work along with assisting clients with all manner of diversification projects. Your work will span a wide range of matters connected with rural land including: • sales and acquisitions of agricultural land and buildings • drafting overage provisions • farm-related tenancy issues including succession rights and surrenders • wayleaves and easements • property development/investment work • renewable energy projects and more. You may, from time to time, also get involved in supporting the wider commercial property team. You will receive good supervision and training, with the opportunity in time to build a name for yourself in a rewarding and specialist discipline. The team will encourage you to get involved in business development opportunities as part of the team and firm generally.
