Join us as our Youth Operations Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping democratic opportunities for young people across Barnsley to become active citizens as part of our youth service developments.

The Local Authority's Targeted Youth Support Service are a key partner in delivering services that are sufficient to meet the needs of our local young people and we are going through some exciting changes within the service to be able to respond to new and emerging priorities for young people and youth work both locally and nationally.
Our service provides support for young people through a youth work approach enabling them to:
* Unlock new skills and abilities through personal and social development programmes of activity and opportunities
* Connect with their local community, influence positive change, become active citizens and make a difference through youth voice, participation and advocacy opportunities

Our programmes include informal education, recreation and leisure opportunities, mentoring and social action, all rooted in our mission to empower youth to realise their full potential.
As Youth Operations Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our youth services and programmes, specifically leading the Youth Voice and Participation Team within our wider service to ensure delivery meets the highest standards of quality and impact. You will manage staff, budgets, and logistical planning, all while maintaining a focus on safeguarding and positive outcomes for young people and the expectations of our stakeholders and partners.
Contract type: Fixed term until to cover the secondment of the current postholder(s).
