Cornwall Education Learning Trust (CELT) is offering an exciting IT Support Apprenticeship where you will gain valuable experience in IT support, troubleshooting, and network management while supporting students and staff across our schools. This apprenticeship is a fantastic opportunity to build your IT career in a supportive and collaborative setting. A Typical Day in the Job: Provide prompt, effective frontline IT support to staff and students across Cornwall Education Learning Trust. Assist the wider IT team with rollout, setup, and maintenance of devices, networks, WiFi, and systems (InTune, Active Directory). Support end-users with Windows PCs, Apple Macs, iPads, Android tablets, printers, display/projector equipment, and PBX/IP phones. Manage IT inventory, including stocking printers with consumables and setting up equipment in classrooms or events. Resolve technical issues using the helpdesk system, ensuring accurate logging and detailed issue resolution for knowledgebase creation. Deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure environment Assist with installation and maintenance of servers and IT infrastructure, while keeping up-to-date with current trends and technologies. Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships. Desired Qualities, Skills, and Knowledge: A strong interest in IT and technology. Basic understanding of Active directory and exsperience using office 365 Full Driving license desired but not essential Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good organisational skills Clear communication skills Basic knowledge of networking, hardware, and software troubleshooting. A Grade 4/C in GCSE Maths and a Grade 5/C in GCSE English is required for this role. Salary, Hours & Benefits: £14,526 per annum. Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm. 25 days paid annual leave per year.
