Design Coordinator Location: ML10 6QJ Role and Responsibilities: Review client remits and identify surveys required to undertake the design. Co-ordinate and facilitate required surveys by planning rail access, preparation of works package plans, task briefings and risk assessments where required Day to day management of design deliverables Assist with managing and maintaining design trackers Assist with maintaining Value Engineering/Opportunities up to date for Efficiencies Tracker Assist the Design manager in ensuring key deliverables are managed and delivered in accordance with the agreed programme and price. Liaise with QTS Delivery team to ensure designs are being delivered correctly. Raise and close out relevant Technical Queries with both the Designers and Client. Identify any scope change in design/surveys and highlight this to the Design Manager and commercial/estimating team Participate and engage fully in company appraisal/performance review processes and constantly work to improve your individual, your team and wider groups performance Skills required: Proven Civil Engineering experience within railway environment (Essential). BEng or BSc Minimum Degree in Civil Engineering or working towards.
