United Autosports – Operations & Technical Facilities
Full-time | Senior Operational Role | Leadership & Infrastructure Ownership
If you’re a confident, structured, operational leader with the ability to run a complex multi-programme motorsport facility — and you take genuine pride in high standards, safety, organisation and efficiency — this is one of the most critical roles you will ever take on.
About the Role
As the Factory Manager for United Autosports, you will take full ownership of the day-to-day running, standards and operational readiness of our entire facility.
This includes Hypercar, Customer Racing (LMP2, GT3), Historic programmes, Commercial areas, Workshop spaces, Stores, Composites, Sub-Assembly, Fabrication, Engineering offices, logistics areas, garage equipment and technical infrastructure.
Your role is the backbone of the organisation — ensuring that every colleague, every build, and every operation can run smoothly in a clean, safe, compliant, well-maintained environment.
You are the person who keeps the building running, the equipment functional, the workflow efficient, and the environment professional at all times.
What You’ll Be Doing

* Leading the operational readiness of all workshop areas:
o Hypercar build bays
o Customer Racing (LMP2/GT3)
o Composites
o Sub-Assembly
o Fabrication
o Garage prep areas

o Offices & meeting spaces
* Ensuring all plant, tooling, lifts, compressors, climate systems and technical infrastructure are fully functional and compliant.
* Supporting department heads with resource planning, space allocation and workflow optimisation.
* Managing consumables, workshop supplies, PPE, cleaning materials and technical stock across all departments.
* Running the building H&S processes: inductions, inspections, audits, risk assessments, signage, emergency equipment.
* Maintaining exceptionally high standards of workshop presentation, branding, lighting, flooring and environment management.
* Working with procurement and finance on maintenance budgets, service contracts and cost efficiencies.
* Planning factory readiness for build phases, load-outs, return-from-event resets and pre-season preparation.
* Acting as a central point of authority for anything relating to facility presentation, readiness or operational discipline.
* Continuously improving workflows, layouts and processes to support calibre, efficiency and professionalism.
What You’ll Bring
* Experience running a technical facility in motorsport, automotive, aerospace or manufacturing.
* Strong leadership presence — able to set standards and ensure they are consistently met.
* Operational discipline and organisational skill at a very high level.
* Excellent people skills and the ability to work across all departments, personalities and programmes.
* Understanding of workshop environments, tooling, H&S regulations and facility compliance.
* A proactive approach — identifying what needs doing before anyone asks.
