About the role
As the Sr. Global Manager – EHS, you will lead the global EHS program across Securitas’ datacenter physical security operations. You will be responsible for developing systems, policies, training, and cultural initiatives that enhance safety and reduce risks. This role manages a geographically dispersed team of EHS professionals and liaises with internal and external stakeholders, including client EHS leadership.
This position is ideal for a senior leader experienced in global EHS operations, risk prevention, safety culture transformation, and managing large, cross-functional teams.
What you’ll do
You will oversee the strategic development and execution of a global EHS program supporting datacenter security operations. Your responsibilities include ensuring compliance, promoting safety culture, creating policies, defining KPIs, conducting risk assessments, managing emergency plans, mentoring staff, collaborating with stakeholders, investigating incidents, and managing client relationships to meet safety and service standards.
What you need to apply
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Industrial Hygiene, or related fields, or equivalent experience, along with relevant safety certifications. A minimum of 15 years leading EHS programs, with experience in global safety development and compliance, is required. Experience in datacenter environments and working with contract security vendors is advantageous.
Strong leadership of distributed teams, strategic management skills, ability to present to senior leaders, and a proven record of influencing safety culture are essential. The role involves 30% travel, so a valid passport, flexibility for domestic and international trips, and willingness to work evenings or weekends during emergencies are necessary.
