We have an exciting role on offer within our Strategic Procurement and Commissioning service as a Contract Management Officer to work with Children’s Services.
About Us
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Contract Management Officer to join our Children’s Commissioning Team. The Strategic Commissioning and Procurement Team sits within the Finance Directorate but supports, directs, and guides all Directorates across the Council.
The successful candidate will be a key part of the Team and should be passionate about ensuring high quality service provision with a real focus on improving outcomes for the young people of Middlesbrough. The successful candidate will work with Providers of services, alongside other key partners, and stakeholders therefore the ability to build strong, trusted, and effective relationships is essential to this role.
Candidates should be creative, and solution focused and be able to demonstrate good IT and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Some knowledge or awareness of children’s services would be advantageous. The candidate must hold a current driving licence, and the post requires an enhanced DBS check.

Requirements

The successful candidate should be creative, solution-focused, and demonstrate good IT, interpersonal, and communication skills.
