The Community Services Team is responsible for delivering initiatives which relate to supporting the local community, including children and young people and local business. Key team responsibilities include delivery of markets & events, (e.g. Charter and other markets, Christmas in Cirencester, summer event), community safety (town centre CCTV), children & young people initiatives and supporting the local community and groups.
Main tasks:
* Generate income to meet our budgeted current and future service delivery needs by having a lead role in fundraising, including researching sources of funding and preparing funding applications
* Assist with record keeping, data input, social media.
* Be part on the on-site delivery for markets, events and projects
* Deal with enquiries for sub-letting, sole traders, markets and events, including managing bookings and invoicing.
* Be a charismatic advocate of the Town Council and assist with building and maintaining relationships within the Cirencester to share information and encourage community engagement
* Develop and maintain an ongoing understanding of the Town Council's service delivery activities and contributing to achieving its aims & objectives
