Contract: Full-time, Maternity Cover (13th of April 2026 – April 2027)
Salary: £172.98 per day – Pay to scale

We are seeking a dynamic, committed, and enthusiastic English Teacher who will:

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Assess, track, and report pupil progress
* Develop creative schemes of work and teaching resources
* Support extracurricular activities including productions, clubs, and trips
* Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and enhance teaching quality
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in English or a related field
* Proven experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable)
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Strong commitment to safeguarding and student welfare
* Passion for literature, language, and inspiring young people
