Responsibilities:
* The pharmacist is responsible for safe and proper storage and supply of medicine and medical equipment for the entire health facilities and main store.
* The pharmacist is also required to act as receptionist in the clinic for registering all patients visiting the clinic.
* Ensure no medicine is misused. Assure transparent issuance and record keeping.
* The pharmacist is responsible for medicine in and out to the clinic and shall be accountable for all medicine quality, quantity and expiry dates.
* Identify and report problems that interfere with the delivery of services.
* Ensure safe, clean and proper storage of all medicine and other medical equipment within the storages.
* Attend coordination meetings related to pharmaceutical issues.
* Prepare monthly and quarterly activity reports of the Program Coordinator/Medical Doctor.
* Carry out any other task as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Education:
* Obtained Degree/Diploma in Pharmacy
Experience:
* Minimum 2-3 years’ work experience, particularly in the field of Pharmacy & drug management
* Strong command on Pashto/Dari
* Good knowledge of computer and English language
* Demonstrated ability to work in a multi‑ethnic team and take on diverse tasks.
* Working experience in the targeted province particularly in Roy-e Douab and Khuram Wa Sarbagh Districts and familiar with concerned community, geography and culture.
