Area Sales Engineer – Cutting Tools / Metalworking
Location: Field-based (East Midlands)
A leading cutting‑tool manufacturer is looking for a driven Area Sales Engineer to take ownership of the East Midlands region and grow sales across the manufacturing sector.
What You’ll Do
* Grow sales with existing key accounts in the region
* Win new business across aerospace, oil & gas, automotive & general engineering
* Support customers with technical cutting‑tool and machining solutions
* Prepare quotes, follow up, and close opportunities
* Track performance and consistently hit/or exceed targets
* Represent the business at trade shows and industry events
What You Need
* Strong understanding of metal cutting & machining processes
* Engineering background (time-served or industry experience)
* Confident communicator & strong relationship‑builder
* Self‑motivated, independent and target‑driven
* Comfortable delivering presentations and technical discussions
* Full UK driving licence + willingness to travel
