Description
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Audit & Accounts Senior to join our Lancaster office. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a varied client portfolio, contribute to a growing team, and take ownership of both audit and accounting projects within a forward-thinking firm.
Key Responsibilities
* Help manage and take a lead role on audit assignments from planning to completion, in line with agreed deadlines and compliance standards.
* Prepare and finalise statutory accounts and tax returns.
* Review and support junior staff, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure high-quality outputs.
* Maintain strong client relationships, responding to queries with professionalism and a client-first attitude.
* Organise your workload effectively to meet deadlines and prepare work for managerial review.
* Ensure accurate logging of chargeable time and support effective fee recovery.
Key Requirements
* ACA/ACCA qualified (or actively working towards qualification).
* Those ‘qualified by experience’ will also be considered.
* Proven practice experience - Audit experience is desirable but not essential.
Additional Requirements
* Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
* Proactive and detail-oriented, with excellent time management.
* A collaborative team player who thrives in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
* Experience with cloud-based accounting tools (e.g. Xero) is an advantage.
