We’re looking for a Machine Operator / Machine Setter to join our friendly, fast‑paced production team on a Monday–Friday dayshift. What You’ll Be Doing
Machine Setup & Calibration
* Set up and calibrate production machinery in line with product specifications
* Complete safe and efficient machine changeovers
Routine Maintenance & Troubleshooting
* Carry out regular machine checks to maintain performance
* Respond quickly to minor mechanical issues to reduce downtime
Quality Monitoring
* Monitor production output to ensure all products meet quality standards
* Make real‑time adjustments to maintain consistency
Accurate Record‑Keeping
* Record machine settings, changes and production data clearly
* Support quality assurance through accurate documentation
Team Collaboration
* Work closely with fellow operators, setters and team leaders
* Support a positive, smooth‑running production environment
Training & Safety
* Assist with training new operators on machine operation and safety procedures
* Follow all company health, safety and hygiene standards
What We’re Looking For
You’ll excel in this role if you have:
* Experience as a Machine Setter, Machine Operator, Production Operative, or similar manufacturing role
* Strong mechanical awareness and a hands‑on approach
* Good attention to detail and problem‑solving ability
* Ability to work effectively within a team
* Reliability and a positive attitude
Experience in food production is helpful but full training will be provided.

* Previous experience in machine setting or a similar role within a manufacturing environment preferred.
* Strong understanding of machinery operation, particularly in food production.

* Collaborative spirit and great communication skills to work effectively with the team.
