About This Role
We seek an experienced, talented and focused individual to join our dynamic team currently delivering installation, maintenance, and product support services for HV & LV equipment across the UK and abroad.
Responsibilities
* Installation, refurbishment, maintenance of LV/HV equipment.
* Interpret electrical drawings and records.
* Carry out electrical testing and fault finding.
* Carry out mechanical modifications and repairs.
* Complete assessment and completion reports.
* Installation and modification of AC/DC wiring and earthing.
* Assess safety and apply controls and safety measures required.
* Facilitate a safe working environment during high / low voltage working.
* Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the standards, policies and procedures of LEEVI and its customers.
* Maintain authorisations in accordance with legislative our safety procedures and industry best practice.
* Liaise closely with team to understand and manage priorities.
* Attend training and continuous development opportunities as required.
Required Qualifications
* Proven track record of experience in the Electrical and/or distribution Industry.
* Certified in electricity at work and
* Experience of delivering efficient and effective services to customers whether on site or at a planning stage from an office environment.
* Good knowledge of H&S and its practical implications.
* Computer literate – skilled in MS office.
* Technically qualified with a HNC or equivalent apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering.
* Desirable training, first aid, IPAF, PASMA, SMSTS.
* Full driver’s License, willingness to travel and work weekends as overtime or with a day off in the week.
Desirable Qualifications
* Cable jointing and end terminations.
* Switching and Linking LV systems.
* Have or held authorisations – Private Networks, WPD, UKPN, SSEN.
* Mentoring of trainees.Willingness to work weekends and call outs.
* Willing to travel abroad to support product and customers (2/3 day trips).
