We’re looking for an Agile Delivery Manager who understands the pressures of delivering in complex, fast-moving environments — someone who can guide multidisciplinary teams, manage stakeholders across government, and ensure digital services meet both user needs and GDS standards.
You’ll be embedded in transformation projects that touch millions of lives, helping to make public services simpler, faster, and more human. It's a delivery role with real purpose — and plenty of room to grow.
What you’ll be doing:
* Leading agile teams across discovery, alpha, beta and live phases of major public sector digital projects
* Coaching and supporting delivery teams to continuously improve ways of working, velocity and collaboration
* Managing delivery plans, budgets and risks across multiple workstreams while keeping teams aligned and focused
* Working closely with product owners, user researchers, designers and developers to keep user needs front and centre
* Navigating complex stakeholder landscapes across government departments, helping teams unblock challenges quickly
* Ensuring delivery aligns with the Government Digital Service (GDS) standards and supports accessibility, transparency, and security at every stage
What we’re looking for:
* Experience as a Delivery Manager or Scrum Master within the public sector, ideally leading GDS-aligned digital service delivery
* Strong understanding of agile principles and a track record of applying them in practice — not just theory
* Confidence managing delivery across cross-functional teams (research, design, development, product)
* The ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders — from developers to directors
* A pragmatic, people-first approach to delivery — someone who leads by influence, not hierarchy
* A passion for making public services better, simpler and more effective for the people who use them
