Job Description Trust Administration Assistant Rustington, West Sussex £28,000 per annum Full-Time | Office-Based An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Trust Administration Assistant to join an established and respected Solicitors Practice in Rustington. This is a vital role within the firm’s Private Client team, supporting the Trust Executive in the smooth running of the trust administration function. About the Role: You will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day administration of a variety of trust and tax clients, acting as a key point of contact for clients, trustees, government bodies, and professional organisations. Key Responsibilities: Supporting the Trust Executive with administrative and compliance tasks Registering and maintaining trusts on the HMRC Trust Registration Service Administering long-term diary notes and assisting with IHT100 forms, ten-year and exit charges Registering taxable estates with HMRC Maintaining internal trust records and preparing documentation such as Deeds of Appointment/Retirement Assisting with trust and estate tax compliance Liaising with clients and third parties to collect and verify information Supporting the onboarding of new clients in line with AML and GDPR requirements Arranging meetings and preparing statements General administrative support as directed by the Trust Manager What We’re Looking For: Strong administrative skills and attention to detail Experience in a legal, financial, or professional services environment (preferred) Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A proactive, organised, and professional approach What's on Offer: Competitive salary of £28,000 Supportive and friendly team environment Opportunities for professional development A chance to work with a highly reputable and long-established legal firm If you're looking to build your career in a respected legal practice and play a key role in delivering high-quality client service, we’d love to hear from you.
