Theatre Practitioners With Orthopaedic Scrub Experience National Locums•West Midlands, West Midlands
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in orthopaedic surgeries, providing expert scrub support.
* Ensure the operating theatre is set up and maintained in accordance with health and safety regulations.
* Work closely with surgeons, anaesthetists, and other theatre staff to provide seamless patient care.
* Prepare and manage surgical instruments and equipment specific to orthopaedic procedures.
* Adhere to infection control practices and surgical protocols.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a Theatre Practitioner or Scrub Nurse role, with a focus on orthopaedic surgeries.
* Valid NMC/HCPC registration (or equivalent where applicable).
* Strong knowledge of orthopaedic procedures, instruments, and techniques.
* Ability to work well in a collaborative team and under pressure.
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
