Job Description:
A major organisation is seeking a highly skilled AI Specialist - Automation & Integration to develop innovative solutions across business operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in data science and a passion for using AI to streamline workflows, boost efficiency, and deliver measurable impact through advanced automation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and deploy AI-powered solutions that automate and enhance complex business processes.
* Collaborate closely with IT, engineering, and operations teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
* Build intelligent automation pipelines using tools such as Python, OpenAI APIs, LangChain, and n8n.
* Apply Large Language Models (LLMs) to real-world challenges like email triage, document parsing, and data enrichment.
* Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to power internal AI assistants with trusted business knowledge.
* Rapidly prototype and iterate on Proofs of Concept to test ideas and gather user feedback early.
* Use AI agents to automate repetitive, rule-based tasks across internal systems.
* Monitor the performance of deployed models, ensuring they align with business goals and deliver clear ROI.
* Document workflows and share learning across teams to support wider AI adoption.
* Stay current with developments in AI, automation, and machine learning tools and techniques.

What We’re Looking For:
* Demonstrable experience in a Data Scientist or AI Automation role.
* Hands-on expertise with natural language processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs).
* Experience using Python, OpenAI, LangChain, and vector databases.
* Familiarity with automation platforms like n8n, Zapier, or similar.
* Solid understanding of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) methods.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to design practical AI solutions with business outcomes in mind.
* Excellent communication skills – able to work cross-functionally and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
* Self-starter mindset with the ability to manage projects independently in a hybrid or remote environment.
* Experience working in agile environments and iterating based on user feedback.
Preferred Skills:
* Background in deploying AI/ML models to production (MLOps).
* Experience using cloud platforms such as Azure.
* Interest or experience in building autonomous agents or internal AI assistants.
