ROLE: Water Engineer - Remedials / Legionella Remedial Plumber
HOURS: 40 hours per week
LOCATION: London Area
At Mitie, our people are our greatest strength, and our promise is to create a place to work where you can thrive and be your best every day. We're looking for a Legionella Remedial Plumber who will deliver essential compliance, monitoring, and plumbing services across a variety of client sites.
Role Responsibilities:
• Carry out a range of monitoring, one-off remedial cleaning, chemical testing, and minor plumbing tasks.
• Work across a wide mix of client sites to meet agreed requirements of the Legionella control programme.
• Maintain customers' water-safe logbooks in line with the Approved Code of Practice (ACoP) L8 and company guidelines.
• Take water samples from multiple sector properties and document them in accordance with the Water Technical Manual.
• Complete all documentation in a timely manner, following up any paperwork relating to customer queries.
Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.
• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing with 4+ years of experience.
• Experience within Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring, or Water Treatment (training provided).
• Basic IT skills, preferably with Microsoft applications.
