Who are TPS?
TPS provides independent garages and bodyshops with high-quality Genuine Parts and products essential for servicing and repairing Volkswagen Group vehicles. As part of the Volkswagen Group, which includes Audi, SEAT, ŠKODA, Volkswagen passenger cars, and Commercial Vehicles, TPS operates a national network of Centres supported by a 1,500-strong workforce. Launched nationally in 2006 as a new brand concept, TPS operates on an Agency Model, meaning that Centres stock and sell on behalf of Volkswagen Group UK. The company has experienced rapid growth both financially and in expanding its network of Centres across the country.
Role Overview
What will you be doing?
As Centre Manager, you will lead, manage, and motivate your TPS team to achieve business goals and objectives, ensuring excellent customer service, developing strategic plans, and establishing efficient processes for a successful Centre.
1. Achieve Centre targets and business objectives.
2. Translate overall sales targets into departmental goals and set challenging yet achievable objectives with your team.
3. Motivate, recognize, and incentivize the team.
4. Develop Personal Development Plans and monitor progress, providing support as needed.
5. Create a Manpower Plan and implement a succession plan.
6. Foster a customer-centric culture within the business.
7. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through team performance.
8. Devise and implement sales plans to increase revenue within the sales strategy.
9. Monitor business performance regularly, identify improvement opportunities, and take corrective actions.
10. Analyze market data to understand potential sales opportunities.
11. Achieve business plan and budget targets, controlling costs and maintaining gross margin levels.
12. Ensure compliance with standards, legal, financial, and ethical guidelines, including warranty policies.
13. Maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders.
14. Ensure the security of stock and premises.
