£80 - £90 Per day
* Provide support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in classroom settings
* Assist the teacher in implementing individualised education plans for students with SEN
* Support students with their learning activities and help them to engage with the curriculum
* Monitor and record student progress and behaviour, reporting any concerns to the teacher
* Work with small groups or individual students to provide additional support as needed
* Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* Previous experience working with children or individuals with SEN
Some college or vocational training in education or a related field
Experience working in a classroom or educational setting
* Understanding of Special Educational Needs and how they may impact learning
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN
* Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
* First Aid certification
* Work primarily takes place in a classroom setting
* May involve assisting students with personal care or mobility needs
* Full-Time hours, temporary position with potential for extension

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
