Set within the iconic The Scotsman Hotel, the Grand Café is a celebrated dining destination that blends heritage elegance with contemporary flair. Proudly holding one AA Rosette for culinary excellence, our team is now focused on an exciting goal: achieving a second Rosette this year.
The Role
As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will support the Restaurant Manager in leading the team and delivering an experience worthy of Rosette recognition and beyond.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
* Overseeing the smooth day‑to‑day running of the restaurant
* Delivering consistently exceptional guest service
* Leading, coaching, and inspiring staff and supervisors
* Maintaining and elevating service standards in line with Rosette aspirations
* Taking full operational responsibility in the Manager’s absence
* Creating a polished yet welcoming atmosphere that reflects the prestige of the venue
About You
* Has experience in a similar hospitality leadership role
* Understands high service standards within quality‑driven environments
* Leads confidently from the front and motivates teams to excel
* Thrives in a vibrant, fast‑paced setting
* Is flexible and available to work evenings and weekends
