Job summary: This is a temporary role as an Activities Driver for Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. The role involves providing safe, timely, and courteous transportation for residents to and from various activities, while ensuring a high level of service.
Main duties of the job: As an Activities Driver, your key responsibilities will include providing transportation services for residents, assisting them with any special needs during transportation, and focusing on safe driving while directing tasks and passenger interactions to onboard support staff. You will also be responsible for providing miscellaneous pickup and delivery services as needed.

Job Responsibilities
Your focus as Activities Driver will be providing safe, timely and courteous transportation for residents to and from various activities while providing quality service.
Other responsibilities will include:
* Providing transportation services for residents.
* Assisting residents with any special needs during transportation, such as carrying packages, opening doors, assisting residents onto and out of the vehicle, and assisting residents to the point of destination required.
* Always focusing on driving; directs tasks and passenger interactions to onboard support staff while the vehicle is in motion.
* Providing miscellaneous pickup and delivery services as needed.

Our ideal candidate must:
* Have a PCV license with Cat D1 and an acceptable driving record.
* Attend periodic Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) training as required.
* Be knowledgeable of all safety precautions and comply with safety procedures.
* Be able to react calmly in emergencies and be considerate.
