Job Description:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Mobile Developer to join the team at a leading financial services firm in Newcastle. The successful candidate will have practical experience in developing commercial applications within Xamarin Forms or .NET MAUI.
Skills/Experience:
* Hands-on development experience using Xamarin Forms or .NET MAUI, following MVVM design pattern.
* Experience creating UI with XAML.
* An understanding of the underlying native code used by Xamarin/MAUI frameworks for both iOS and Android (desirable).
* Experience with developing .NET web technologies such as .NET Core MVC and Webforms (desirable).
* Experience creating binding libraries for native SDKs not supported in .NET (desirable).
* Strong problem-solving skills with minimal supervision.
* Ability to explain and fix bugs clearly and logically.
* Comfortable working independently or in a team.
* Good time management and multitasking skills.
* Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies as needed.
Core Responsibilities:
* Investigate and resolve issues within mobile and backend code.
* Work independently and collaboratively to meet project deadlines.
* Stay informed about relevant tools and updates.
