Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Head Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and kitchen management, demonstrating exceptional culinary skills and a commitment to food safety. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating innovative dishes, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring a high standard of hospitality in our dining establishment.
Please note: hours are on a rota basis and will include weekends and evening
Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety standards.
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, showcasing creativity and attention to detail in presentation.
* Maintain inventory levels of food supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary to ensure freshness and quality.
* Help to develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences while adhering to budgetary constraints.
* Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, complying with health regulations at all times.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
