Requirements:
Applicants must hold a full UK manual driving licence. A clean licence is preferred, but applicants with minor endorsements may still be considered.
We are looking for someone who is organised, methodical and proactive, with attention to workplace tidiness and health & safety
Candidates must have the flexibility to take on multiple roles and perform a range of tasks as and when required, be happy to work alone and as part of a team.
The role requires close inspection of fabrics, so applicants must be able to carry out detailed visual tasks.
The role involves regularly lifting and moving rolls of fabric weighing up to 20kg, with manual handling training provided.
FLT licence is not essential but would be considered a benefit.

Responsibilities:
The job consists of 2 parts, local driving of long wheelbase van and warehouse assistant with an approximate of 25% driving and 75% warehouse related roles. This is subject to change depending on workload.
Driving roles:
* Deliveries and collection within the Yorkshire area.
* Drivers will be required to manually load and unload fabric rolls (up to 20kg).
Warehouse assistant duties:
* Working with our warehouse manager.
* Picking and packing and wrapping fabric rolls.
* Constructing shipment pallets.
* Cutting QC samples from incoming fabric deliveries.
* Loading/unloading wagons (manual handling, with FLT support where trained).
* Fabric inspection on occasion.

About the Job:
· This role is for full time.
· Working Monday to Thursday (8am till 5pm) and Friday (7.30am to 2.15pm)
· Fixed holidays aligned with mill shutdowns, plus 5 floating days. Total 30 days.
· Potential for paid overtime once trained
