We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, dynamic, and motivated community leader to work within our Outreach Stop Smoking Service as an integral part of our Kent service. The ideal candidate will need to be open to travel and support teams throughout the area as required.
This role will be responsible for empowering the community to access our service through making and maintaining strong community links, helping other agencies understand the role of the service, and through community outreach and engagement activities. * Deliver Very Brief Advice for Stop Smoking, Making Every Contact Count, raising awareness of the service, and ensuring the service reaches residents who might benefit.
* Engage with existing organisations across public, private, and charitable sectors to embed the service.
* Hold a valid driving license for a manual car.

MAIN PURPOSE

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
* Participate in relevant community networks and develop trusted partnerships.
* Deliver Level 2 training, including Making Every Contact Count and Very Brief Advice, to organisations, raising awareness of the service and reaching potential beneficiaries.
* Engage with organisations across sectors to embed the service.
* Lead on social media for the service, attend community events regularly.
* Line manage a team of Stop Smoking Advisors.
* Contribute to planning, delivery, and development of the stop smoking service and specific projects.
* Lead engagement efforts linking smokers to effective interventions and promoting local smoking and vaping cessation support.
* Strengthen partnerships within local healthcare systems.
* Carry out prevention work with schools and families.
