Role Overview:
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum, depending upon experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 0900 – 1730, fully onsite role
Location: London, Holborn
Contract: Full Time and Permanent
Role Summary:
The postholder will be responsible for managing a variety of core accounting responsibilities and contribute to efficient financial operations in a dynamic business environment.
Role Duties:
* Perform supplier and customer account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
* Conduct bank reconciliations on a regular basis to maintain up-to-date and accurate records.
* Process and manage monthly payroll, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal policies.
* Handle double-entry bookkeeping and ensure accurate posting of financial transactions.
* Supporting the preparation VAT returns
Qualifications:
* Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, desired
* Certification (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA part-qualified) preferred
Experiences & Skills:
* Extensive of accounting experience, preferably in a small to medium-sized company.
* Proven experience in: Supplier and customer reconciliations, Bank reconciliations, Payroll processing, Double-entry accounting, Using Xero
* Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
