An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Logistics Shift Manager to join a fast-paced and dynamic logistics operation. This role is integral to ensuring the efficient movement of goods through a hub-and-spoke network, maintaining high standards of service, and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily logistics operations, ensuring timely dispatch and delivery.
Lead, coach, and develop a team to achieve performance and service targets.
Monitor and analyse key performance indicators, driving continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with health & safety, transport, and industry regulations.
Optimise resource allocation and workflows using data and technology.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve operational challenges effectively.
Candidate Profile
Proven experience in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain, preferably within a hub-and-spoke model (Ideally as a Logistics Shift Manager).
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive performance.
Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Transport Management Systems (TMS).
Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency.
Comprehensive knowledge of logistics regulations and industry best practices.
