As a Drama Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that encourage self-expression, teamwork, and creativity while developing students’ performance and communication skills. What you have to do as a Drama Teacher: Plan and deliver high-quality Drama lessons in line with the curriculum. Teach performance, improvisation, and theatre skills across key stages 3, 4 and 5. Encourage creativity, confidence, and collaboration in the classroom. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support departmental initiatives Assess student work and provide constructive feedback. Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management. Support school productions, performances, and enrichment activities. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching Drama in UK schools is desirable. Strong subject knowledge and degree in Drama and Performing Arts. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities. A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL.
