We are seeking dedicated Behaviour Mentors to join inclusive and forward-thinking secondary schools across Bromley. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a nurturing school community where every child is valued and supported to succeed.
About the Role
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a vital role in helping students overcome barriers to learning by:
* Building positive and trusting relationships with students.
* Supporting behaviour management strategies within the classroom and around the school.
* Providing one-to-one or small-group mentoring sessions.
* Encouraging emotional regulation, social skills, and positive engagement with learning.
* Working closely with teachers, pastoral teams, and parents to promote student wellbeing and achievement.
About You
We\'re looking for individuals who are:
* Passionate about supporting young people and helping them reach their potential.
* Patient, empathetic, and able to remain calm under pressure.
* Excellent communicators who can build rapport and motivate students.
* Team players with a proactive and flexible approach.
* Previous experience in a school, youth work, or mentoring setting is desirable but not essential.
