Your new role
As a Senior Procurement Advisor, you will play a key role in assisting the Procurement Manager in developing and implementing procurement policies and providing expert procurement advice across the business. You will manage procurement for variousmodities, services, and capital projects, while ensuringpliance with safety and environmental standards. You will also be responsible for managing and supporting a team of procurement professionals.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Managing procurement activities including contract negotiation and supplier relationship management
2. Supporting strategic procurement projects and initiatives
3. Developing procurement policies and ensuringpliance across the business
4. Advising and training managers on procurement practices
5. Identifying cost-saving opportunities and delivering efficiencies
6. Collaborating with SHEQ to ensure supplierpliance with H&S and environmental standards
7. Conducting risk assessments and implementing safe and sustainable work practices
8. Overseeing the performance of Procurement Administrators, Coordinators, and Advisors
9. Leading reviews and improvements of current contracts and supplier agreements
10. Supporting tendering processes, including preparation of specifications and evaluation criteria
