Your new role
This position works in an environment where people are passionate about helping others, with a focus on service and support to all stakeholders to provide proactive, timely and effective management of support claims.
Case Management
1. Determine eligibility and accept/dispute liability with the ability to escalate as needed
2. Provide workerspensation advice to stakeholders such as workers, employers and providers
3. Undertake ongoing entitlement reviews in relation to weekly payments and medical expenses
4. Independently manage a portfolio of claims
5. Collaborate with Injury Management Specialists and Technical Specialists and other technical and support experts
6. Assist the worker and employer with the claim process and providing support in thepletion of relevant documents to ensure timely access to required services to support return to work and injury recovery
7. Make decisions regarding the recovery and return to work process
8. Facilitate active participation of the injured worker and their employer in any return to work and recovery planning
9. Ensure case management is in accordance with legislation andpliance guidelines
10. Work in accordance with employer policies and procedures
11. Proactively proceed with appropriate case management to achieve the optimum oue of early sustainable return to work for workers with reasonable claim costs

16. Ensure that all open claims are reviewed regularly and file reviews are maintained
17. Identify and contribute to processes and practices for continuous improvement opportunities
What you'll need to succeed
18. Strong technical capabilities
19. 2-3 years of Insurance experience within Personal Injury Claims, Medical Claims, Rehabilitation or Occupational Health Advice
20. Experience in creating solutions and problem-solving
21. Conflict resolution and negotiation experience
22. Relevant allied health, insurance or business qualification (desirable)
