Role responsibilities:
The Supply Chain Product Specialist will be responsible for managing the supply of assigned products, ensuring end-to-end coordination of all operational activities through strategic batch planning and dynamic management. You will:
* Develop the supply plan in collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders
* Proactively own the resolution of any operational challenges in collaboration with the relevant department or team
* Maintain product supply to ensure the company offers the highest level of service to customers in all markets
* Ensure that the Master Production Schedule is up to date and maintained
* Monthly update of the Master Production Schedule & regular review of sales and stocks
* Set up new products in external and internal systems
* Proactively monitor and manage demand
* Ensure weekly stock reports are updated and communicated to all stakeholders
* Manage the returns process for any returned customer orders
* Build strong internal & external stakeholder relationships
* Ensure Responsible Person (RP) has clear and communicated target release dates for customer return
* Communicate with Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance and Commercial/Country Manager teams
* Resolve day-to-day issues with 3PL and CMOs
* Support the organisation of product collection from supply partners ensuring that the Status Of Collections tracker is up to date
* Obtain relevant certification, temperature data and receipt documentation for incoming deliveries
* Dynamic management of the safety stock level based on supplier performance
What we are looking for:
We are looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience and experience of supply chain and stock management within the Pharmaceutical industry. Additional skills required:
* Highly numerate, with strong Microsoft Excel skills
* Well-organised and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritise
* Able to apply appropriate problem-solving techniques to evaluate and resolve operational issues
* Computer literacy skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and Supply Planning Systems
* Able to build strong internal & external stakeholder relationships
* Supply Chain qualification (e.g. CIPS, APICS, CIPM or equivalent) is desirable
