Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a project manager to be engaged on a permanent basis Warrington, Cheshire.
What will you be doing?
* Leading the development, monitoring, and control of project programmes and schedules to ensure successful delivery against scope, time, cost, and quality objectives.
* Working closely with Resource Leads to forecast, plan, and optimise resources across projects.
* Preparing, maintaining, and presenting project documentation in line with company practices, client requirements, and governance frameworks.
* Acting as the key point of communication for project scope, milestones, and delivery status with internal stakeholders and clients.
* Proactively identifying, managing, and escalating project Risks and Issues, ensuring mitigation plans are in place and Learnings are captured for continuous improvement.
* Supporting governance and reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards.
What you'll bring:
* Strong knowledge and practical experience of project delivery under standard form contracts, with NEC4 preferred.
* Good understanding of Quality Management Systems (e.g. ISO9001) and their role in ensuring consistent, compliant delivery.
* Proven project management skills, including leadership, stakeholder engagement, and performance development.
* Strong IT literacy, with the ability to utilise planning and reporting tools effectively.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills across clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
* A collaborative approach, with the ability to coach and inspire teams to achieve successful project outcomes.
