The Role
We are seeking a qualified Probate Practitioner to join our licenced conveyancing firm. The role will include obtaining Grants of Probate and assisting and advising on complex cases along the way. This is a full-time opportunity and will be 37.5 hours per week based from home, with occasional visits to our office in Lincoln.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of probate law and the administration of estates, providing expert guidance on complex cases with full administrative support.
Duties
* Prepare and file necessary legal documents with the relevant courts.
* Assist in the valuation of estates, including property and assets.
* Manage timelines and deadlines associated with probate proceedings.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the probate process.
Skills
* Qualified probate practitioner
* Strong knowledge of probate law and estate administration procedures.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly.
* Exceptional organisational skills, with attention to detail in managing documentation and deadlines.
* Empathy and sensitivity when dealing with clients during challenging times.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
