We are looking for an ambitious, detail-oriented Junior Procurement Executive to support our global IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) sourcing operations. Working directly under the Senior Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for validating inbound stock lists, handling initial supplier communications, and ensuring seamless coordination between procurement, testing, and logistics. This is a fast-track opportunity to learn the global enterprise hardware trading market from the ground up.
Responsibilities
* Inventory Triage: Review, clean, and analyze inbound supplier equipment lists (CPUs, RAM, SSDs, Servers) to prepare them for valuation.
* Supplier Coordination: Act as the first point of contact for established suppliers, managing daily RFQs (Requests for Quotes) and chasing stock availability.
* Logistics & Tracking: Coordinate with internal logistics and the warehouse team to track incoming shipments, resolve discrepancies, and ensure swift intake testing.
* Market Research: Monitor broker platforms and tech marketplaces to track real-time pricing trends on key components.
* System Compliance: Maintain meticulous records in our ERP/database, ensuring all data complies with our corporate standards and inventory tracking policies.
Qualifications
* 1–3 years of experience in an administrative, procurement, or analytical role (IT hardware or electronics sector is a major plus, but a sharp aptitude is key).
* Strong proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data cleaning) and a comfort level working with large numbers of technical SKUs.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills for building relationships with international vendors.
* A naturally organized problem-solver who can multi-task in a fast-moving trading environment.
* Commutable to Milton Keynes for an on-site role.
